Council approved 4.2 million dollars, on October 31st, 2012, for design work of the Coronation Recreation Centre. These monies allow the administration to prepare a RFP for architects and engineers and then begin the design of the project. It also sets up the project to be capitalized in the next three year City of Edmonton budget scheduled to be tabled in the fall of 2014 and beginning on January 1, 2015.
